wearable art. be a kid all over again.

school’s out for the summer. your curfew is the streetlights in the cul de sac. your neighbor’s dad just made a tetherball out of an old tire and concrete and you have some practicing to do before recess starts back up. there’s a chance mom might let you have a sleepover out on the trampoline and you intend on putting to use the portable family DVD player. you and your best friend found out that using a jump rope to tow rollerblades behind a bike is the life altering- you just have to avoid hooking another pebble. you’re fueled by otter pops, hose water, and costco microwavable taquitos. life’s good and wearable art feels the exact same way.

each piece thrifted and painted with acrylic fabric medium for a new (but familiar) take on life. one where the stakes aren’t so high and it’s okay to play.

from my home to yours.
