Our art finds purpose with Addison’s Disease Awareness. For each fin purchased, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the National Adrenal Diseases Foundation. We are stronger, healthier, and better equipped to face life when we take care of each other.
Know Where Your Support Goes: The National Adrenal Diseases FoundationThe NADF was formed in 1985 by a young couple as a result of their experiences with Addison’s disease. At that time, there was no organization established to provide guidance and information about life with adrenal insufficiency. There was no way to contact others who shared this illness.As a result of the dedication of the Board of Directors, officers, and members of NADF, patients with adrenal diseases now have a resource for their physical and mental health questions. The newly diagnosed can look to NADF for information from its page "Newly Diagnosed" as well as “Facts You Need to Know” pamphlets. Anyone wishing to find support and share experiences with others can participate in one of our numerous support groups throughout the country, or can join an online discussion on the NADF Inspire website at nadf.inspire.com. Even endocrinologists can stay informed through the efforts of the Foundation with NADF’s Professional Membership.“We inform, educate, and support individuals affected by adrenal disease to enhance their quality of life.”
